This Cockerel was rated as one of the very best exhibited in 1914. Mr Phipps operated "Homestead Campines" at that time.

I agree, the nicest thing about the barring on this bird is the way it tracks around his body. It does not seem his cape is entirely free of ticking but that will always be the balancing issue. i.e. barred breast and clear cape. This male also has a lovely full front on him ... I'd love to see more photos from different angles.
